The Armada GFL300 ground fault locator is designed to find nicks and cuts in buried cables, where voltage is leaking to ground. The transmitter outputs a 2400 or 3400 VDC charge, which is then detected by the A-frame receiver to locate faults. The receiver has an analog meter, which kicks in the direction of ground faults for easy signal tracking. This locator includes car and wall chargers for the transmitter, and has easy-to-read LEDs for monitoring battery life.
